Table9 is a real, invite only network for authentic leaders in the marketing communications space.
Concieved by Ben Walkenhorst in 2010, Table9 is a ticketed not-for-profit event, it's an opportunity for an interesting group of senior leaders to meet and share business insights and ideas in a structured leadership luncheon.
Business insights are then circulated within a fortnight of the luncheon and more in-depth papers from guest presenters within a month.
We don't push sales of our products or encourage aggressive pursuit of new business but have created a space for leaders to share valuable and profound insights. This is not a 'talk fest'.
There are over 100 business leaders across government, private and not-for-profit sectors on the invite list. The first nine to book and pay ($50 INC GST) are awarded a seat at this exclusive, high value luncheon.
Table9 meets quarterly on Friday's for a two hour luncheon every quarter at Bok Choy Tang in Federation square Melbourne, with members paying a discounted rate for Yum Cha (menu). Seats are strictly limited and available on a 'first book. first in' basis.
The addition of Special Guest Presenters commence in 2014 and has attracted some of the highest calibre business, government and education leaders in Australia.

Initially, members were invited from our principal, Ben Walkenhorst's private network.
However the network saw value in bringing more like minds together and extended invites have been allowed each member's network, providing they go to people who are:
- In the 'C-Suite' (or above), preferably in the marketing communications space
- An interesting, quirky, entrepreneurial or an "outside-the-box thinker"
- A fountain of knowledge, on average in their later mid-stage of life
- A "Swimmer" - able to be left in a crowded room
- A young plastic PR pumped full of botox, wearing stilettos, a power-suit or the latest metro-sexual shirt - from a "Fay-Gency" (Fake Agency)
- A pushy salesperson or self promoter
